I am an On
Construction Domestic Energy Assessor, which means that I produce
energy assessments from drawings and specifications.
These are carried out in two
stages. First is an As Design stage which needs to be completed and
delivered to Building Control along with Planning Application details
before work can begin on the new dwelling. It's at this time that the energy assessment details of the dwelling are stored in the national database.
Second stage is the As Built stage. The Energy Performance Certificate is produced and the energy assessment details are updated in the national database. This stage must be completed before Building Control will sign off the
completed dwelling.
I am a member of NHER accreditation scheme which means that my work is monitored by NHER to ensure that
a high and consistent standard is maintained
at all times. I have full professional indemnity insurance to cover all work carried out in the Northern Ireland (Part F), England and Wales (Part L1a) and Scotland (Part J).
